Weddings at First Church
Our historic church is a beautiful setting for weddings. The gothic revival sanctuary comfortably fits up to 400 guests, with brilliant multicolored light showering in from morning until evening. A grand piano fills the cathedral sanctuary with resonant music.
For more intimate wedding parties, our stunning white-oak paneled chapel can seat 50. Summer wedding parties have also used our garth (courtyard), which can comfortable accommodate a party of 50.
The chapel, our beautiful parlor, and several other rooms are available as rooms for the wedding parties to spend time preparing before the ceremony.

Our large fellowship hall is available for receptions and dancing late into the night. In warmer months, wedding parties can also rent God’s Little Acre, a garden fenced with wildflowers directly across the street from the sanctuary.
Costs & Scheduling
Costs are variable from $1,500-$7,000 and depend on the spaces reserved. We recommend taking a tour of the spaces and sitting down with our pastor to decide which package is right for you. We do not want cost to be a barrier, and can work with you to ensure the cost is affordable to you while covering the church’s expenses.
A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to reserve a date.
Our pastor is available to officiate and offer pre-marital counseling. You are welcome to obtain these services elsewhere if you prefer.
We can refer a host of local high-quality musicians and other vendors. Unfortunately we do not offer in-house wedding planners or A/V specialists at this time.
